On 24th November º£½ÇÆÆ½â°æ education team members Lachlan WilsonÌý²¹²Ô»å John Friel hosted the third of a series of education law update seminars. The content of the seminar focussed on Equality Act 2010 claims involving schools, in particular disability discrimination claims, and a review and analysis of the government's proposals to permit the opening of new grammar schools. A case law update was also provided.

Nick Robinson secures acquittal for vulnerable defendant
º£½ÇÆÆ½â°æ Barristers’ specialist criminal defence barrister Nick Robinson has secured the acquittal of a vulnerable young defendant. The prosecution’s case was that vulnerable defendant, then aged 18, had raped a 15-year-old girl at a residential address in November 2021.
