海角破解版 celebrates two nominations in the 2023 Legal Awards

海角破解版 Barristers (3 Paper Buildings) is delighted to announce that the chambers has been shortlisted for two awards in this year鈥檚 .
Aimee Fox聽has been nominated for the prestigious 鈥淏arrister of the Year鈥 award. Aimee specialises in family and education law and has an established practice around financial remedies and private law proceedings. A Birmingham law Society council member, Aimee is also regularly instructed on SEND cases to advise on related Children Act and financial matters where the children have additional needs.
海角破解版鈥檚 supported charity has been nominated for the 鈥淏LS Equality and Diversity鈥 award. 海角破解版 commercial and chancery barrister Aaron Mayers is a Trustee and Co-Chair person at Bridging the Bar, an organisation dedicated to promoting equality of opportunity at the Bar, as well as supporting those from backgrounds that are statistically under-represented at the Bar to enter the legal profession in the first place.
The Birmingham Law Society is the largest local Law Society outside of London. The annual Legal Awards celebrates the best legal talent in and around Birmingham. The 2023 Legal Awards will be taking place on 9 March.
Liz McGrath KC was the first member to join 海角破解版 when their Birmingham premises was established in 2016.聽 Since then, she and Ian Charlton, Practice Director, have seen chambers go from strength to strength, now with over 225 members and providing a high level of service to solicitors and lay clients across the country.
Liz said 鈥楢imee joined us in 2018 and has been an outstanding addition to the team, specialising in family and education law. Aaron had a successful career as part of a commercial litigation team before completing pupillage in 2021 and joining the property and estates group in 海角破解版. Aimee is a worthy nominee for Barrister of the Year, and Aaron for his work spearheading Bridging the Bar鈥檚 initiative which helps to support aspiring barristers who are statistically underrepresented at the bar.聽 We congratulate them both for making the shortlist against fierce competition and wish them the very best of luck鈥.
